Louisiana Swamp Water -
Ahhh…the lovely stench of genuine Louisiana swamp water.
Nothing quite like it. And you can never guess how bad it’s gonna be. Sometimes, it’s just muddy water with some silt and algae… but sometimes… it smells like sulphur, death and decay. That’s the beauty of it.
In the southern states, along the Gulf Coast region, swamps and bayous (from the Cajun French) are essentially a body of water that are low-lying, and usually extremely slow-moving. They usually contain some type of brackish water, but are highly conducive to fish life and plankton. In Louisiana, especially, they become very boggy and often stagnant. In our Swamps, you can almost always find crawfish, sometimes shrimp, catfish, toads, turtles, alligators, snakes, leeches, and even a Cajun or two.
Our swamp water is genuine – collected by hand, usually after a heavy rain – as this stirs up the things in the swamp. This water is commonly used down here for baneful work. It’s perfect for adding to sour jars, anointing a candle, or soaking something to be used on your enemy. Sour jars, break up spells and all types of revenge are boosted when you use swamp water.
You can pour a bottle at the gate on your property, or a little under your door mat and it will keep the nasties away. I have actually combined it with Black Salt and Brick Dust and visibly seen it stop a person in their tracks – and made them turn around. Later, I found out they intended harm to a person in the household.
